The designed production capacity is 90000 glass substrates per month, with a glass substrate size of 3370 × 2940mm and a total investment of 40 billion yuan. The project is scheduled to start construction before the first quarter of 2016 and is expected to be put into operation before the end of 2018. According to industry consulting firm IHS DisplaySearch, the demand for products with a size of 60 inches or more is expected to reach 20 million square meters in 2021. The 10th generation line is the most efficient production line for cutting products over 60 inches.
