The large screen display industry is considered a "hot sector in the cold niche." Consumers are often puzzled about why the large screen industry is so popular. In the past, due to high prices, it was only accessible to a select few high-end sectors. Ordinary people and small companies had little knowledge or means to access it, and even if they were aware, the exorbitant costs made it impossible for them to afford expensive projectors as display terminals. The large screen display industry encompasses several display technologies, including DLP rear projection, high-brightness projectors, plasma, LED full color, liquid crystal technology, laser projection technology, and more. Starting from 2009, with the breakthrough of liquid crystal splicing technology, the liquid crystal splicing large screen emerged as a force in the large screen display industry. Since then, the industry of liquid crystal splicing screens has been plagued by a mix of good and bad players, with various tricks and deceptions used by unscrupulous manufacturers to deceive and mislead users.

Here are thirteen common malpractices in the liquid crystal splicing industry that we will unveil to everyone:

Unique craftsmanship, AImenpad splicing

Disorder One: Climbing High Branches. This is the most commonly used deception method in the current market. Liquid crystal display panels are divided into low-brightness and high-brightness types, with a brightness of 450cd/m² for the former and 700cd/m² for the latter. The cost difference between these two types of panels alone is nearly 3,000 yuan. Moreover, it is very difficult for laypeople to distinguish between these two products by eye. Therefore, there are a large number of unscrupulous merchants on the market who use low-brightness screens to impersonate high-brightness screens, making a fortune from it.

Disorder Two: Swapping Cats for Princes. Everyone knows that home TV liquid crystal displays do not support continuous use day and night; professional liquid crystal display panels are mainly used in the monitoring and commercial markets, operating continuously day and night around the clock. They have a service life of over 60,000 hours and all use industrial grade panels. However, some manufacturers modify household TV panels to pass off as professional liquid crystal display panels. The price difference between household TV liquid crystal panels and commercial ones can be at least several thousand yuan. For users who are unaware of the situation, they are essentially buying fakes at a high price.

Disorder Three: Trade-in Programs. There are also manufacturers who take back old machines used by customers, refurbish them themselves, or modify them using second-hand liquid crystal panels. Users may not notice any issues when they first start using them, but problems will arise after a short period of time. By then, the merchants have long disappeared without a trace. Interpretation: More than 85% of the large LCD screens installed in KTVs and bars nowadays are like this due to their pursuit of cheap options.

Quality first, integrity foremost

Disorder Four: Event Promotion. Selling products in the form of low-price customer feedback events, where customers buy so-called low-priced 'official' products and end up with issues. The bad manufacturers then explain that whatever the price is, there will be a corresponding product, claiming full rights to interpret the event. I think at this point, customers must feel cheated, but not all events are scams by merchants; there are also genuine products and services involved. What I want to remind customers of is that when purchasing event promotion LCD splicing products, they must thoroughly understand the event manufacturer, content, and after-sales service, rather than being tempted by the price for the moment.

Disorder Five: Low Price First, Then Higher. This trick works like this: initially, you strike a deal at a relatively low price, and then, after the user pays, various reasons are cited to increase the price. For example, the original price of the LCD splicing may not include taxes, now it's time to add tax money, etc.; or the original price does not include the cost of installing the LCD splicing bracket or base, and so on; there are many other tricks and excuses to make users invest more later on.

Disorder Six: Smaller Than It Appears. This trick is somewhat shameless. When signing the contract and making payment, they tell you the product is 42 inches, but when delivering the goods, they substitute a 40-inch model instead. If the user doesn't notice, they secretly rejoice. If they do notice, they adamantly deny it, insisting that this is indeed a 42-inch product. In the industry, talking about product size actually refers to the diagonal length of the liquid crystal panel. If the diagonal length of the liquid crystal panel is 46 inches, then it is a 46-inch LCD splicing product.

Disorder Seven: Smuggling of Screens. Some manufacturers, in order to obtain higher profits, resort to various means such as tax evasion and tax fraud. This not only violates national regulations and harms the interests of the state but also ensures that the quality and after-sales service of the products are not guaranteed.

Disorder Eight: Cheating on Tariffs. The cost of liquid crystal panels used for splicing is usually high. Taking a 46-inch example, professional grade panels cost 1000 US dollars, while home-use panels cost 200 US dollars. Some manufacturers declare customs using the price of a home TV liquid crystal panel, which is 200 US dollars. This saves 800 US dollars on the 5% tariff and 17% value-added tax.

Disorder Nine: Junk Screens. 'Foreign garbage' electronic devices collected from abroad are smuggled back to China, where usable display panels are selected for refurbishment and sold as new screens, making it difficult to distinguish them from the outside.

Standardization, process standardization, normalization

Disorder Ten: Naked Running Machines. Some manufacturers provide users with large screens that only consist of a liquid crystal panel, driver board, and power supply board. The liquid crystal panel is 90% exposed to the outside, which in the industry is called a 'backpack machine.' In fact, what users buy is just a semi-finished product. Dishonest manufacturers euphemistically call it: very good for heat dissipation.
Con trick Eleven: Fake Foreigners. Pretend to register a brand abroad as an international high-end brand and then produce knockoffs in China. Sell them to users at international brand prices to gain high profits.

Door-to-door installation, one-stop solution

Disorder Twelve: Three-No Products. Formal manufacturers have their own factories, products are certified by the state, and they have their own companies and professional staff. However, some non-formal companies or so-called shell companies only act as a "matchmaker" for both parties in transactions and do not bear any responsibility. When issues arise, users cannot enjoy their due rights and interests.
Disorder Thirteen: Idolizing Foreign Brands. Large screen display systems using liquid crystal splicing technology are widely used in government agencies and enterprises. They are often artificially manipulated to use the price of foreign brands for bidding and tendering budgets, and then domestic neutral products are supplied at high prices after winning the bid.
